From the app or the website
- Sign in to Shift Terminal (web, iOS or Android).
- Open My Profile (in the apps: More → My Profile).
- Scroll to Delete Account and tap Delete My Account, then confirm.
- Your account is scheduled for deletion with a 7-day grace period, and it keeps working during those 7 days. To cancel the request, open My Profile and tap Cancel Deletion. Signing in does not cancel it. After the 7 days the deletion runs automatically.
By e-mail
If you can no longer sign in, e-mail support@shiftterminal.com from the address on the account with the subject “Delete my account”. We verify the request and complete it within 30 days.
What is deleted, and what is kept
- Deleted: your login, name, e-mail address, phone number, profile photo, notification settings and push-notification registrations.
- Removed: your attendance photos, your personal documents, and the pictures and videos you attached to support requests. No one can open them any more.
- Kept, anonymized: shift and attendance records that your organization must retain for payroll and employment-law compliance. They are detached from your identity and no longer reference you by name.
- Kept for a limited time: administrative audit records and system logs, under the retention periods described in our Privacy Policy.
Organization administrators
Deleting your own account does not delete your organization. An organization administrator can request deletion of the whole organization and its data from App Settings or by e-mailing support@shiftterminal.com.
If you are the only administrator of your organization, the app does not accept a request to delete your account. First give another person the administrator role, or close the organization from App Settings → General → Close Organization. Closing the organization signs everyone out. After a 30-day grace period, during which an administrator can sign in and reopen it, all of its accounts and records are deleted, yours included. Files uploaded to the organization (such as photos, logos and documents) are deleted when an administrator asks us to.
